Come out with your SGA registered club to pull and bag garlic mustard in the Glen on Friday, May 2nd from 1 – 5 p.m.!
**CASH PRIZES will be awarded to the groups that bag the most garlic mustard (1st: $150, 2nd: $100, and 3rd: $50).**
Garlic mustard is an invasive weed that can outcompete native species. As part of the ongoing restoration of the Glen Arboretum, we want to remove as much garlic mustard as possible this spring.
So come out and help us accomplish that goal while also getting service hours for your group AND the chance to win a cash prize!
We’ll meet in the Challenge Course area of the Glen at 1 p.m. If you arrive later, we’ll be working all over the Glen, so find your group and join in! Gloves and Bags will be provided. Wear long sleeves and pants to protect against any poison ivy.
