Quickly Setup Automatic Replies (Out of Office) in Outlook
The Out of Office Assistant sends an automatic response to any messages you receive while you are away.
- Click the File tab on the Ribbon. Click the Automatic Replies button. The Out of Office Assistant dialog box appears.
- Click the Send automatic replies option. Optional: Click in the Only send during this time range box to specify the time range to which you want the messages to be replied. If you don’t specify a time range, the automatic replies will begin immediately upon closing the dialog box.
- Enter the text that will appear in your auto-reply. Type your entry on the Inside My Organization and/or Outside my Organization tab. You can have different away messages for Inside and Outside of your organization.
- Click the OK button.
