Gaming and “gamification” have become serious topics for both academic research and curricular enhancement in higher education.  This talk will describe the prototype development of “Anthropology Games” and the use of the Game Design Tool Kit from MIT.

Further discussion will explore the creation of a mobile app platform that utilizes gaming logics for entnographic research, fieldwork and engagement.
