The Towson University Police Department is offering a Rape, Aggression, Defense (RAD) course for female students, faculty and staff during the month of April. RAD is a program that teaches realistic self-defense techniques. The RAD program begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction and avoidance, and concludes with hands-on defense teaching.
The course will be held on Monday evenings from April 1 to April 22. There are four sessions total, and each session will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Class location will be provided when confirmation is received. The course is available at no cost, but it is advised that you register early, as class size is limited.
