The Tigers resume play in the Colonial Athletic Association when they host Virginia Commonwealth on Wednesday night in the Towson Center. Tip off is 7:00 p.m.
The Tigers (6-5, 1-0) and Rams (9-3, 1-0) are two of six teams tied for first place in the early standings. The Tigers knocked off William & Mary 73-60 back in December while the Rams notched their conference victory in a 79-60 rout of Delaware. This will be the 12th meeting between Towson and VCU.
Towson is coming off an impressive win over Winston-Salem State when the Tigers scored a season high in points for the 80-59 victory. Senior guard Gary Neal showed the way with 26 points but got help from junior forward Tommy Breaux who chipped in career highs with 20 points and eight rebounds.
