Software Tip of the Week

Microsoft Word has a helpful built-in feature that lets you change the case of any text you have typed. This simple-to-use feature is especially helpful when you must change the case of a title or lengthy main body text in a document.

The Change Case options that are available are: Sentence case, lower case, UPPER CASE, Title Case and tOGGLE cASE.

To Change the Case of Text:

1. In Microsoft Word, select the text you want to change.
2. Select Format > Change Case from the menu bar
3. Select the case option you want and click OK.

Shortcut: You can also press SHIFT+F3 on the keyboard. This keyboard shortcut, however, only toggles the case of the selected text between Title Case, UPPER CASE, and lower case.
