There is a new phishing scam that is making its way around campus disguised as coming from Towson Online Services. It asks for your e-mail account information with a penalty of being disconnected. This is not an OTS practice. OTS would never request personal information over e-mail. Phishing is an intruder?s attempt to get your personal information using disguised e-mails.
OTS recommends that you:
– Do not respond or forward any emails requesting personal information under any circumstances.
– Delete these messages immediately.
