A National Summit on Education will be sponsored by Phi Delta Kappa International at the Capital Hilton Hotel, Washington, DC, October 19-21, 2006. Towson College of Education faculty, Drs. Nancy Wiltz, Todd Kenreich, and Jane Neapolitan; and College of Liberal Arts graduate student Brian Muffoletto, will conduct a presentation on Towson’s Longitudinal Teacher Retention Study and Professional Development Schools. The conference will feature a panel discussion about the No Child Left Behind Act moderated by John Merrow of the PBS Merrow Report and a presentation by John Goodlad, internationally reknowned researcher and author of “A Place Called School.”
