SOFTWARE TIP OF THE WEEK
Blackboard 9.1 Uploading Files to Blackboard
When uploading a file to Bb you need to make sure the file is named properly. It does not matter where the file is uploaded to or who is uploading the file in the system. If the file is not named properly the file will NOT upload and you will get an error message.
Example:
If you are uploading a file and the file is called Blackboard Assignment #1 and is a MS Word document you will want to make sure there are no spaces or characters in the file name and that there is an extension at the end of the file name.
Acceptable:
BbAssign1.doc
BbAssign1.docx
Bb_Assign1.doc
Unacceptable:
Bb Assign#1.doc
Bb Assign1.doc
Bb Assign#1
