Occupational Therapy Center Fall Programs at the Institute for Well-Being

The Occupational Therapy Center at the Institute for Well-Being still has openings for children, youth, and young adults in a variety of therapeutic programs. Sensorimotor Groups for Children and Youth

Do you know a child who has trouble sitting still, touches everything, or struggles with homework or shoe-tying? Sensorimotor Groups are being offered through the Occupational Therapy Center for children ages 2 – 10 with challenges in sensory, perceptual, and motor coordination. Morning and afternoon groups are available. Sessions begin the week of 9/12. Handwriting Group for Children and Youth

Do you know a child that struggles with handwriting? The Occupational Therapy Center is offering a handwriting group for children who have challenges in sensory, perceptual, and motor coordination. Meal Time to Drive Time: A Driver’s Readiness Group for Youth and Young Adults

The Occupational Therapy Center is offering a driver’s readiness program that will address the cognitive, visual, and readiness skills that are significant to safer driving. The program is for individuals between 15 and 24 that find driving or obtaining a license challenging.
