WebEx Host Accounts Available to Students

OTS is pleased to announce that 200 WebEx host accounts will be made available to students beginning in the fall of 2014. If you have a course which requires your students to be collaborative, WebEx may be the tool for you.

Student host accounts will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis, will remain active for the current semester only, and must be requested by a faculty member. We ask that you limit these host accounts to 5 students per course, as they can in turn invite other students to a WebEx session.

In order to receive host accounts for students in your course, please do the following:

  1. Login to techhelp.towson.edu.
  2. Make the following selections: Employee Role>Collaboration, Video Conferencing, Lync, SharePoint>WebEx>Account Activation Deactivation>College Name>Year and Term>Course ID.
  3. Under Request Detail add the first name, last name and Towson email addresses of the students you wish to receive WebEx host accounts.

You will receive an email when the accounts have been activated. Students need only login to begin using their accounts.
