Attend this FREE event: Leadership Lessons from the Boston Marathon Bombings

Join us on Friday April 11, 2014 in Towson University’s College of Liberal Arts Building for the Badolato Distinguished Speakers Series’ latest FREE event: “Leadership Lessons from the Boston Marathon Bombings.” The event will be held in room 4110. The agenda is as follows:

1:30-4:30 p.m. Keynote Speaker – Daniel Linskey, Superintendent-in-Chief of the Boston Police Department

4:30-5:00 p.m. Networking Reception

On April 15, 2013 Dan Linskey was on foot patrol along the Boston Marathon route when two bombs were detonated near the finish line. As the Superintendent-in-Chief of the Boston Police Department, Dan was thrust into managing one of the largest law enforcement operations in New England’s history. Dan oversaw the arrest and capture of the terrorists after a fierce gun battle, which included bombs being thrown at officers, an unprecedented shutdown of the city, and one of the largest and most challenging tactical responses in the history of civilian law enforcement. During this session, Dan will provide participants with an in-depth overview of the response, and the leadership challenges he faced during the crisis.

The event is FREE and open to anyone, but space is limited. Learn more and register at http://www.towson.edu/innovation/badolatoseries/
