Redoubtable Dons

The Dons, now in their 25th year, are cross-disciplinary gathering of faculty who share scholarly interests or works in progress in a non-specialized way with academics from accounting to zoology.  One hope is to make our large campus smaller and its collegiality stronger.

You are welcome to any or all of the spring talks listed below–and welcome also to volunteer to give a talk yourself. Attend once and you’ll be a life member.

All meetings begin at 3:30 p.m. on the following Fridays at the University Club, Towson U Marriott, where a good bar combines bracing spirits with spirited talk.

April 18th – Mike Korzi, Political Science “So Great Was the Demand for the Candidate: William Howard Taft and the Election of 1908” –  a sabbatical talk

May 2nd – Peter Lev, Electronic Media and Film “Twentieth Century Fox: The Zanuck-Skouras Years, 1935-1965” which is also the title of Dr. Lev’s latest book published in 2013.
