Towson University Annual Women in Science Forum March 1, 2014 (8:30 AM – 1 PM) in the University Union (Chesapeake Rooms I and II).
The Forum provides an arena for science and mathematics teachers, students interested in careers in science and mathematics, and scientists and mathematicians from academia and industry to meet, network, and hear about the research work of nationally known scientists and mathematicians. We have a very exciting line-up of speakers this year. Sherita Golden (Hugh P. McCormick Family Associate Professor of Medicine and Epidemiology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine), Michelle L. Thaller (Assistant Director of Science for Communications at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center), and Allison N. Wack (Associate Veterinarian, The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore).
Registration is free and a complimentary continental breakfast and a lunch buffet will be provided. Please let us know if you will be coming by February 21st so that we might have a true head count for ordering food.
