There’s still time left to sign up for Turkey Run, this Sunday, Nov. 24! Online registration ends at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22. Turkey Run, featuring a 5K Run and 1-Mile Walk, will take place on Burdick Field on Sunday, November 24. The 5K Run starts at 8:30 a.m. and the 1-Mile Walk starts at 8:40 a.m. Register individually or recruit members of your club, organization or department to sign up as a team!
Registration for the 5K Run is $20 for students, $25 for faculty, staff and alumni and $30 for non-affiliates. Registration for the 1-Mile Walk is $15 for TU affiliates and $20 for non-affiliates. Online convenience fees apply, but a portion will benefit the Towson Stuff-a-Bus food and toy drive. Registration prices increase by $5 on race day.
This will also kick off the sixth annual Towson Stuff-a-Bus food and toy drive. Participants are encouraged to bring a canned food item to benefit the Food Bank of Maryland or a new toy to benefit Toys for Tots. The more toys or food items you bring, the more raffle tickets you will receive, and the more chances you will have to win exciting prizes!
