The Alexander the Great film festival will run for three Wednesday nights in April in 200 Linthicum Hall.
On Wednesday April 13th, the young (and blond) Richard Burton stars in MGM’s Alexander the Great (1956) with Fredric March, Claire Bloom and Danielle Darrieux.
On Wednesday April 20th, William Shatner stars in Alexander the Great (1968) with Adam West as his sidekick Hephaisteion, in a pilot for a pre-Star Trek TV series that never got off the ground.
Finally, on Wednesday April 27th we will see ‘Alexander the Great: Beyond the Movie’ a National Geographic documentary examining the historicity of Oliver Stone’s Alexander (2005).
The films begin at 7:00 PM. Refreshments provided.
