Damage to the Glen Bridge as a result of Hurricane Isabelle required engineering studies to assess the extent of the damages. Preliminary engineering investigations indicated that other components of the bridge, not affected by the storm, had deteriorated and needed to be studied. Those studies are now complete and design for corrective measures has begun. We are anticipating corrective construction to begin on the bridge in late May of 2004 and be completed during the summer months.
