As a part of the third floor renovation over the summer, Cook Library created an Information Commons which provides double the number of computers previously available. TUCOOKCHAT, the library’s new chat service offered Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., enables users to get library assistance while working at the computers. Adjacent to the Information Commons, the library added eight study areas for collaborative computer work. Each area is equipped with a computer, a 24 inch monitor, and an extra mouse.
