Communication Screenings, required for students in all Education majors, K-12 programs, OT, Nursing, Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, September 4th, 5th and 6th from 9am-5pm at the Speech, Language & Hearing Center in The Institute for Well-Being located at the Towson City Center, One Olympic Place (big building with blue windows and Towson University logo on top, just north of the Towson circle).
LOCATION: To get to the Towson City Center, you can walk or take the Towson shuttle bus. There is no parking for students on site, so please give yourself plenty of time to travel to the Institute for Well- Being and back to campus. Once at the IWB, go to the main lobby and take the elevators up to the Speech, Language & Hearing Center on the 3rd floor and sign-in.
TRANSPORTATION: The Towson Shuttle Bus Kenilworth Route picks up and drops off students in front of the Liberal Arts building and arrives at the Institute for Well Being within 15 minutes. SIGN UP PROCEDURE:
-For students in majors other than Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology, no appointment is necessary. Students are seen on a first come, first served basis.
-Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology majors must sign up for an appointment outside of the ASLD department office (Room 105) on the first floor of Van Bokkelen Hall.
