Do you wish you knew where federal agencies are headed and how to align your funding requests to their priorities and direction? Join the Office of University Research Services for the Federal Research Priorities and Budgets for FY11 webinar and hear directly from the White House and from program personnel at the National Science Foundation, the Department of Education, and the National Endowment for the Humanities as they share agency direction and funding priorities for the coming year.

? Monday, November 8, 11:00 a.m. ? 12:30 p.m., Kei Koizumi, White House, Office of Science and Technology Policy on the President?s priorities and budget requests for research;

? Monday November 8, 2:00 p.m. ? 3:30 p.m., Elizabeth Albro, Department of Education budget priorities for research;

? Tuesday, November 9, 11:00 a.m.- 12:30 p.m., Jean Feldman, Head of Policy in the National Science Foundation Division of Institution & Award Support, and Jeremy Leffler, Outreach Specialist in the Policy Office within the Office of Budget, Finance, and Award Management on NSF budget priorities for research; and

? Wednesday, November 10, 2:00 p.m. ? 3:30 p.m., Tom Phelps, National Endowment for the Humanities on NEH budget priorities and updates to grants policies and procedures .
All sessions will be in the Computer and Information Sciences conference room, 7800 York Road, third floor. Presentations will run an hour followed by 30 minutes of questions and answers. Audience members will be able to submit questions during and after each presentation. This webinar is free and open to all faculty and staff.
