The Baltimore Hebrew Institute at Towson University and the Baltimore Zionist District is delighted to sponsor on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 from 7:00 pm ? 8:30 pm a lecture by Michael Granoff. This lecture will take place in the new Liberal Arts Building room 4110.

Smarter Than a Smart Car: Better Place and the Electric Car

The goal of Better Place is to create the first nationwide infrastructure of electric vehicle stations for charging and trading in EV batteries.

Founder of Maniv Investments, and Bioventures and Energy Capital. Michael Granoff is the principal investor in Israel?s Project Better Place whose goal is to create alternative energy sources to release the world?s dependence on oil and minimize environmental impact and cost. Project Better Place is currently working on creating nationwide electric vehicle services and infrastructure in Israel. Michael Granoff is on the board for SAFE (Securing America?s Future Energy).

There is a fee of $5 for BZD members and $8 for non members. Students and Faculty are free.

Parking will be available in the Towsontown Garage directly across from the College of Liberal Arts Building.
