SOFTWARE TIP OF THE WEEK
Outlook Changing the Message Format
Outlook allows users to send emails in different formats. These formats are:
? Plain Text: Uses text characters with no formatting, which makes it compatible with all email clients.
? HTML: Applies HTML formatting.
? Rich Text: Allows simple text formatting that is specific to Outlook.
Plain text or HTML are often the preferred formats, but you can change your default by following these steps:
1. Click the File tab and choose Options.
2. Choose Mail in the left pane.
3. In the Compose Messages section, use the drop-down menu to select the format for the Compose messages in this format: option.
4. Click OK.
