Achieving Two States: Ensuring Real Peace and Security for Israel

This is a rare opportunity to learn first-hand how a negotiated, two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict can lead to greater security for Israel, the Palestinians and the United States. Ami Ayalon, a former Israeli military commander, government minister, and prominent peace activist, will be the guest speaker on June 7, 2010 at 7:00pm. This event will be hosted in the new Liberal Arts building room 4110.

In 1992 Ami Ayalon was appointed admiral and named commander of the Israeli Navy. From 1995 ? 2000 he served as head of Israel?s internal security service. He was a member of Knesset for the Labor Party from 2006 to 2009.

This event is co-sponsored by J Street Baltimore
