WTMD, along with the Downtown Partnership and City Paper, invites the entire TU community to another free First Thursday Concert on August 4, in downtown?s Mt. Vernon Square, at the foot of the Washington Monument. The show starts at 5:30 p.m. and wraps up around 8:30 p.m.
Billy Miles will enchant you with her sultry voice as she simmers pop with hip-hop, R&B, jazz and electronica. WTMD listeners will quickly recognize Billy?s singles, ?We Can?t Help You? and ?Sunshine?, heard regularly on the station. Quirky and fun Spottiswoode and His Enemies, with their catchy song ?Youngest Child?, opens the show.
Food and beverages are available, so bring a blanket or lawn chair and listen to free tunes in the center of Charm City!
