I am saddened but also proud to announce that Jeannette Hadfield, CRNP, Associate Director of the Dowell Health Center, will be leaving Towson University after 20 years of service to become the Director of the Student Health and Counseling Service at Goucher College. Jeannette came to the Health Center as a Nurse Practitioner in 1984 and became Associate Director in 1989. She has been a passionate and dedicated practitioner of college health, a key staff person at the Health Center, and an active member of the Division of Student Affairs. She has worked with a number of faculty and staff across campus and has made many contributions to the TU community during her tenure here. While this is an exciting and well-deserved opportunity for her, she will be greatly missed, both by staff and the many students whose lives she has touched.
Jeannette’s last day is August 12. We invite her friends across campus who want to wish her goodbye and good luck to a farewell reception for her at the Dowell Health Center from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 9.
Please RSVP by August 5 to {lsindler@towson.edu}. If you wish to contribute to a gift, please send a check for $5.00 made out to Jane Halpern.
