Beginning January 25th WBAL 1090 AM Radio will host the Pat Kennedy College Basketball Show that will air every Monday night through the end of March.

This Monday, January 11th, WBAL will feature a special preview show from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. hosted by Peter Schmuck.
?It?s going to be great to represent Towson and be involved with such a class organization as WBAL,? said Kennedy.
The nine shows will cover college basketball from top to bottom, including a special update on the Tigers. Kennedy will take questions from callers throughout the show on the 50,000-watt broadcast outlet.
?Pat?s passion courtside carries through to his appearance on WBAL,? said Mike Wellbrock, the station?s executive producer.
In his 30th year as a Division I head basketball coach, Kennedy is nationally recognized for his knowledge of the college sport, and basketball in general.
Kennedy continues to rank among the top 25 active winningest Division I coaches, standing 21st before the start of the 2009-10 season. There isn?t a level of Division I basketball he hasn?t coached on, from the MAAC while at Iona, to the Metro Conference and Atlantic Coast Conference at Florida State, through Conference USA at DePaul to the Big Sky at Montana. He now finds himself directing Towson in the very competitive CAA.
He has taken teams to eight NCAA Tournaments and five NIT?s. He has had ten 20-plus win seasons. He is the winningest coach in the CAA. Fifteen of the players he recruited have gone on to have NBA careers, including Sam Cassell from Baltimore?s Dunbar High School, most recently with the Los Angeles Clippers. Four of his former Towson players are currently playing overseas – Gary Neal (Calvert Hall High School), Junior Hairston, Lawrence Hamm (Harrisburg High School) and Marc Pratt. A number of his former assistants have become head coaches or assistants in the NBA.
For over a decade Kennedy served on the National Association of Basketball Coaches board of directors. He was its president in 2004-05.
