The Division of Economic and Community Outreach (DECO) announces that the Baltimore County Commission for Women received the National Association of Commissions for Women (NACW) Award of Excellence for The Money Conference for Women, an event co-sponsored by DECO and the Baltimore County Commission for Women. This highly successful event was held in May of this past year and featured nationally recognized inspirational speaker Dee Lee.
Participants were able to attend break out sessions on specific subject matter related to their financial needs and concerns. Lunch was also provided along with the opportunity to interact with several exhibitors. Towson University hopes to be able to offer the community many more opportunities of this nature in the future. The Award for Excellence for this highly successful event was presented at the NACW annual convention.
