Work with New Transfer Students at TU CARES This Summer!

Interested in welcoming new transfer students to TU this summer?

New Student Programs is looking for motivated Student Leaders to work with our Summer TU CARES program. TU CARES (Towson University Campus Advising and Registration for Entering Students) is designed to help new transfer students get oriented to campus, meet with faculty advisors, and build their fall class schedules. Student Leaders are responsible for checking students in, guiding them through the day, leading them on tours, sharing lunch with them, and facilitating the flow of advising meetings.

The program takes place from July 16 – July 31 (12 days) and includes as well a Late Day on August 20 and an International Student Day on August 21. A training day will be set prior to July 16.

We are looking for students who can work the entire program (full days) – all Student Leaders will be compensated and we will provide on-campus housing for those who need it.

Former transfer students are especially encouraged to apply for this excellent leadership opportunity!

Please contact Trevor Yuhas, Coordinator for New Student Programs, at {tyuhas@towson.edu}, if you are interested or would like more information.
