SOFTWARE TIP OF THE WEEK
Microsoft Outlook 2003/2007 (Full-version): Send Contacts by Email
If you use the Contacts feature in Outlook, you may already have a rolodex full of important information (such as e-mail addresses, phone numbers, fax numbers, birthdays, etc.).
You can email an entire contact or group of contacts to another individual in a jiffy! If your recipients have Outlook, they can then quickly add these contacts to their own!
To send one or more contacts:
1. Open a new message.
2. Click in the message body.
3. On the Insert menu, click Item. (For Outlook 2007 users, on the Insert tab, click Attach Item).
4. In the Look in list, click the Contacts folder.
5. In the Items list, click the contact that you want to send, and then click OK. (To select more than one contact, hold down the CTRL key and then click your contacts with your mouse.)
6. Send the message.
For a recipient to incorporate items into their contact list:
1. Open the message containing attached contacts.
2. Double-click on an attached item.
3. Click on the Save and Close button.
