SOFTWARE TIP OF THE WEEK

Microsoft Excel 2003/2007: Repeat Row or Column Titles When you Print

By default, Excel prints row and column titles only on the first worksheet of data. If you have a large amount of data, it would be helpful to repeat those titles on each additional worksheet.

In just a few clicks, Excel can automatically repeat row or column titles for you!

For Word 2003 users to repeat row or column titles, simply:
1. Click File > Page Setup.
2. Click in the field next to Rows to repeat at top, then click and drag directly on and down the row number/s that should repeat on each page.
3. Similarly, click in the field next to Columns to repeat at left, then click and drag directly across the column letter/s that should repeat on each page.
4. Click OK and print as usual.

For Word 2007 users to repeat row or column titles, simply:
1. On the Page Layout tab, in the Page Setup group, click Print Titles.
