SOFTWARE TIP OF THE WEEK

Outlook 2007: Adjust the Calendar Time Increments

By default, your Outlook 2007 calendar is divided into 30-minute time slots but this may be too long or too short depending on your requirements or personal preference. Outlook 2007 offers time increments or 5, 6, 10, 15, 30 or 60 minutes. You can select your desired increment from this list with just two quick mouse clicks!

1. Startup Outlook 2007.
2. Display the calendar in Daily View.
3. Right-click on the list of time increments on the left.
4. Select the desired new increment of 5, 6, 10, 15, 30 or 60 minutes, and your Outlook calendar automatically adjusts to the new setting.
