Construction on the West Village Commons, West Village Housing, Site and Safety, and College of Liberal Arts projects continues to progress. Campus Site and Safety
? The grand stairs are now open for use by the public, though additional close out work will continue to be performed in the area. You can view a photo of the staircase at {http://wwwnew.towson.edu/adminfinance/facilities/archengconst/campusconstruction/AECCurrentProjects2_000.asp}.
? The new entrance to Lecture Hall is on schedule to be completed by July 20. It is expected that occupants will begin moving back into the building July 28.
? Lecture Hall Plaza utilities are complete and the new plaza work has begun. This work is scheduled to be complete by the end of August.
? The temporary entrance to the Towsontown Garage is complete and in use. The reconfiguration of University Avenue continues and should be completed around August 10.
College of Liberal Arts ? Phase II
? The new accessible entrance to Dowell Health Center is nearing completion.
? The walkway from Glen Esk to the Psychology Building will be opened after July 4.
? Lighting along the walkway will be installed this July.
? Interior lights are being installed inside the CLA building.

West Village Commons
? Construction is 50% complete. Windows are being installed on the exterior of the building, exterior brickwork is complete, and exterior metal panels are being installed.
? Interior stud walling, ductwork, wiring and plumbing is underway throughout the building.
? The building is currently on schedule for a summer 2011 opening.

West Village Housing Phase II
? The ground floors complete on both buildings.
? Wood wall panels and floor joists are being constructed to support the second floors of both buildings.
? Masonry stairwell towers are nearing completion.
