Auxiliary Services would like to address recent industry-wide concerns regarding the security of material copied using digital copy machines that have hard drive storage capability. Printing Services and Central Photocopy are conducting a risk assessment of campus photocopiers to determine what?if any?copiers are affected by the security issues. In order to protect the confidentiality and integrity of the data stored on affected copiers, data security kits may be installed and/or copier leases may be adapted in order to protect hard drive security. Printing Services and Central Photocopy will make every effort to insure that campus data is protected.
