Clarinessence 4 features the marvelous playing of clarinetist Marguerite Levin and pianist Jeffery Chappell. The highlight of the program is Carl Maria von Weber?s Grand duo Concertant, a tour de force for clarinet and piano. Other works include the music of Shulamit Ran, Jules Mazellier, and Leo Weiner.
