PowerPoint 2007 and 2010 Compressing a Picture

You can compress a picture to make the file size smaller without losing any quality.

1) Insert picture into your presentation.
2) Click on the picture that needs to be compressed. The Picture Tools tab will appear on the Ribbon.
3) Click on the Compress Picture button located in the Adjust group on the left side of the Ribbon. A dialog box will appear.
4) Select the Compression options and Target Output for your needs.
5) Click OK
