This weekend we have two great games of Tiger Lacrosse at the U. On Saturday it’s Tigers vs. Lions as the Penn State Nittany Lions take on your Towson Tiger Men?s Lacrosse team. The game begins at Noon and tailgating begins at 10:30 a.m. The Tigers are ranked #14 in the nation after winning 4 straight, beating #7 UMass and #7 Drexel in back-to-back games. This is their first national ranking in 2 years. The game will be televised on W-MAR and ESPNU. This game is also the LAST Battle of the Greeks event, so wear your letters and bring your Tiger Pride.
Prior to Saturday?s game, there will also be a youth lacrosse clinic for boys in first through eighth grades sponsored by Warrior. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. followed by the clinic, which will take place from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. The cost of the clinic is $10 and includes a ticket to the game.
On Sunday, it?s Senior Day as the #10 in the nation Lady Tigers host the Hofstra Pride in the final regular season home game of the year. The game begins at 1 p.m. There will be a FREE post game clinic for girls in grades 1-8. It will take place on the field and the girls will be instructed by Tiger Head Coach Missy Doherty. All participants receive a FREE 2010 tiger Lacrosse poster.
