The ISSO is searching for Towson University students to serve as peer leaders/mentors for the newly admitted undergraduate and graduate international students who will be joining the TU community during the fall 2010 semester. International Student Ambassadors help new international students to feel welcome on campus, and facilitate various aspects of their adjustment to Towson University and the Baltimore area.
Important: International Student Ambassadors must be available from Friday, August 13, 2010 through Tuesday, August 24, 2010, during which time the ISSO, as well as New Student Programs, will be coordinating orientation activities, events, and programs.
Note: this is a paid position, consisting of a very competitive hiring process which includes an application, as well as phone and in-person interviews. Students who are not accepted to the program for the fall 2010 semester should not be discouraged, and are recommended to apply again next semester.
