MEN’S BASKETBALL: Final Basketball Game Filled With Promotions and Guest Recognitions

Make sure you?re in the Towson on Saturday, February 27th for the final home game of the 2009-10 Men?s Basketball season as they take on Delaware. You don?t want to miss this rivalry game plus stay in your seats at halftime to enjoy two special on-court recognitions.

First we will welcome back the 1989-90 Men?s Basketball team to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Towson’s first-ever NCAA Division I Tournament team that faced Oklahoma in the 1990 Midwest Regional in Austin, Texas. The starting five that year included Kurk Lee, Kelly Williamson, Kennel Jones, Mike Morin and Devin Boyd.

Following the 1989-90 team recognition we?ll take the time to honor Towson alum and recently crowned NFL Super Bowl Champion, Jermon Bushrod. Jermon is the starting offensive tackle for the New Orleans Saints and is a 2007 graduate of Towson University.

Upon entering the arena students will have the chance to register for an Enter-To-Win Contest to take a group photo with Jermon and receive a signed Towson Football from him. Additionally all fans in attendance will be invited onto the court after the game to take a ?Team Picture? with Jermon. Get to the game early for great seats and stay after for the ?Team Picture?!

Towson students and faculty/staff receive free admission to the game with their OneCard. For a special faculty and staff offer to the game scroll down to faculty and staff announcements. Tip-off is 4:00 p.m. in the Towson Center.

If you are unable to attend tune into the radio broadcast on WBAL-AM (1090) to hear Gerry Sandusky and Vince Angotti broadcast all the action. You may also visit TowsonTigers.com to view the live video stream of the game.
