The Tigers’ NCAA Tournament first round game against third-seeded North Carolina will be played on Sunday, May 10 at 1 p.m. at Fetzer Field on the University of North Carolina campus, it has been announced by NCAA officials.

Spectators for Sunday’s game are encouraged to park in the Cobb Deck, the Highway 54 lot, and the Boshamer Stadium lot. Please note that lacrosse parking will not begin until 11:30 a.m. due to UNC’s graduation ceremonies that morning, which are taking place at Kenan Stadium on the UNC-Chapel Hill campus near Fetzer Field.
Tickets are available for Sunday’s game for 8 dollars for adults and 5 dollars for students and senior citizens. Due to construction, the UNC Athletic Ticket Office encourages fans to buy tickets online and use the print-at-home option so that you may bypass ticket lines and enter gates right away. If tickets are not purchased in advance online, cash will be the only form of payment accepted at Fetzer Field on game day.

Now 13-5 on the season, the Tigers will be making their third NCAA Tournament appearance in the last five years. The Tigers lost at fifth-seeded Georgetown by 15-14 in the first round of the 2005 NCAA Tournament before dropping a 21-9 verdict against fifth-seeded Syracuse in the first round last season.
