The #2 seeded Towson Tiger Softball team claimed victory yesterday over the #3 seeded Georgia State Panthers at Hofstra University in the first round of the CAA softball tournament. The Tigers defeated the Panthers by the score of 3-1.
The Tigers are now in the driver?s seat with the #1 seeded Hofstra Pride losing to the #4 seed James Madison Dukes earlier yesterday at the tournament. The Tigers take now face the #4 Dukes at 10 a.m. in the double elimination tournament with the winner advancing to the championship.
