On Sunday, April 5th the Towson Tigers Women’s Lacrosse team will host CAA opponent Old Dominion at 1 p.m. at Johnny Unitas?Stadium. Following the game will be the annual youth lacrosse clinic held by Head Coach Missy Doherty and the 2009 Tiger Lacrosse Team.
The Clinic will cover the basics of the great game of women’s lacrosse and include stick work, defense, and shooting. All girls in 1st to 8th grade are invited to attend this post game clinic, each clinic attendee will receive a complementary game day program, autograph card, and 2009 Tiger Lacrosse poster. There will also be opportunities for all the players in the clinic to get autographs and pictures taken with the 2009 Towson Lacrosse team.
This clinic is a great opportunity for young girls looking to improve their skills and also have the chance to play on the same field that the Tigers play all their home games and is also the sight for the 2009 NCAA Division I Women Lacrosse National Championship held on May 22th and May 24th.
Clinic Cost $2 for an advance registration, $3 for day of registration. If the youth player is wearing a jersey on the day of the game the Cost will be $2.
The cost of the clinic is just the cost of a ticket for the game that day, which is $5 for adults and $3 for kids. If you would like to bring a team or a group to the game and/or the clinc, group tickets can be purchased for just $2 each for 20 or more tickets before the day of the game/clinic.
