BASKETBALL: Pat Kennedy Will Appear on Comcast SportsNet’s NCAA Bracket Show on Sunday at 10 pm

Towson men?s head basketball coach Pat Kennedy will serve as an analyst this Sunday night on Comcast Sportsnet?s SportsNite NCAA College Basketball Tournament Bracket Show that will air from 10:00-11:00 p.m.

Joining Kennedy on the CSN set will be host Brent Harris, a 1995 Towson graduate.

Kennedy, a former head coach at Iona, Florida State, DePaul and Montana and past president of the National Association of Basketball Coaches, often comments locally, regionally and nationally on the NCAA Tournament during March Madness.

The Tigers? 2008-09 season ended last weekend when 2nd-seeded George Mason beat the 11th-seeded Tigers in the CAA Tournament semifinals.

Towson senior forward Junior Hairston became the first Towson player ever selected to the CAA?s All-Tournament team since the Tigers joined the league eight years ago. He earned the honor for leading the 11th-seeded Tigers to the semifinals. After knocking off 6th-seeded Drexel 73-62, the Tigers upset 3rd-seeded Northeastern 58-54 to become the lowest seed in the history of the CAA Tournament to advance to the semifinals.
