This year’s conference, “OneTowson,” is being held on Thursday, October 18, 2012, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in a new location – West Village Commons.
The program offers many topics on professional and personal development designed to help you succeed in business and excel in personal enjoyment. Spend the day enjoying free food, gifts, door prizes and camaraderie. Lunch promises to be entertaining and delicious.
Some staff may only be able to attend half of the conference due to their role in helping our University offices to remain open to serve our students and other customers. That is why you will see that we are offering each session twice that day; once in the morning and once in the afternoon to accommodate your schedule.
This year we are partnering with Veterans Services by collecting food and goods to support our soldiers serving overseas. Check out the conference webpage for a list of items. There will be a collection station near registration. In an effort to connect our deployed soldiers to Towson University, we are asking for the name, unit and address of your friends and family and send that information to Eric Martinez at jmartinez@towson.edu. Once the Care Package drive concludes in November, Veterans Services will carefully pack the care packages and send them to your loved ones. This is a great way to connect our TU family to our soldiers overseas.
