SOFTWARE TIP OF THE WEEK
PowerPoint 2007 Preset Slide Designs are BORING!
PowerPoint includes only a limited set of design themes, so they get overused quickly. However, Microsoft and communities of PowerPoint users continue to create new design themes on the web.
To find more design themes:
1. Open your web browser such as Internet Explorer.
2. In the address bar type: {http://office.microsoft.com/templates}
3. Under Templates, click Design Slides.
4. Pick a category.
5. When you find a design you like, click on it and click the Download button above it. If you have not used this site before, you will need to Accept an agreement with Microsoft and click OK at a variety of points.
6. When this process is complete, your new template should open in PowerPoint.
Note: Some of these themes are created by individual users, so the quality will vary.
