Towson University welcomes Clara Changxin Fang as the new Campus Planning & Sustainability Manager. Clara will be working with the Facilities Department on the sustainability aspects of the Campus Master Plan and coordinating efforts to fulfill the university’s commitment to becoming a carbon neutral campus. Clara came to Towson from Swarthmore College in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania where she served as their sustainability coordinator. Prior to that she was a consultant to the City of Albany, New York where she helped develop the city’s greenhouse gas inventory and climate action plan. She holds a Master of Environmental Management from Yale University and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from University of Utah. In addition, she writes a blog about climate change and education at www.residenceonearth.net.
