The Electronic Media and Film Department will host “The First Annual William Horne Memorial Lecture” on Monday, April 19, 2004, 7:30 p.m., Van Bokkelen Auditorium, room 204. Free admission.
Speaker: Richard Vatz, Professor of Rhetoric & Communication
Topic: “Media and Political Bias”
Dr. William L. Horne taught at Towson University from 1989-2002. The yearly lecture series will be devoted to the broad area of Bill’s teaching and scholarships: television, film, literature, media and politics, and media law.
Following the lecture, there will be a reception in the Media Center Lobby and the opening of the William Horne Memorial Library, MC107B.
