BELIEVE Campaign

This summer, the Baltimore City Mayor’s Office will be partnering with many organizations in order to bring a vast amount of exciting events to our city. Immediately, Mayor Martin O’Malley is looking for volunteers to help the BELIEVE Team throughout the city. The BELIEVE Team, through the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhoods, is currently seeking volunteers for the many exciting and joyous events that will take place at Pier 6 concerts, BELIEVE Mobile tours, and cultural festivals all over Baltimore. ALL are welcome to be part of the festivities.

What is the BELIEVE Campaign?

The Baltimore BELIEVE campaign is an initiative aimed at strengthening the quality of life in Baltimore’s neighborhoods by targeting the drug activity, crime, school-related matters and other social issues present in the city. The Baltimore BELIEVE campaign is supported by the Baltimore Community Foundation, the Office of National Drug Control Policy – Executive Office of the President, the Baltimore BELIEVE Leadership Committee, and supported by the people of Baltimore, who are determined to reclaim the pride of being the most beautiful city in America.

Why volunteer?

To have a chance to see local and national acts FREE of charge!

To be part of the Baltimore BELIEVE experience and the greater Baltimore community!

For students, to have a chance to build your resume with the volunteer time you offer!

BELIEVE volunteers will be charged with set-up and break-down of the event, as well as spreading the BELIEVE message (we will educate you on this, of course). Volunteers are asked to make a minimum 2-hour commitment. All volunteers are asked to wear their BELIEVE t-shirts that will be provided.

Any questions, please contact Theresa Hall or Tony Tsang at 410-396-1809 or at {Theresa.Hall@baltimorecity.gov} or {Tony.Tsang@baltimorecity.gov}. Thank you for your support in the BELIEVE campaign!
