Construction on Tiger Arena and Newell and Richmond renovations continues to progress. Detailed updates and upcoming milestones for each project are listed below. Campus Site and Safety ? The new service road entrance to Union loading dock is open for use. The main plaza and new stairs near Lot 9A with connections to the south Burdick entrances are complete. Landscaping will take place later in the spring. Corrections to the east wall of the service road retaining wall will occur in about two weeks.
West Village Garage – Punch list and warranty items continue.
Newell Richmond Renovations ? Change Order for terra cotta window mullions was approved at BPW on 1/25/12. Precast window mullions for Newell have been ordered and are in fabrication. New interior wall construction, mechanical and electrical systems continue in both buildings. New windows in Richmond Hall have started along with dormer metal work.
CLA ? Miscellaneous punch out continues.
Ward and West ? Design is ongoing. Cost estimates due the week of 2/6/12.
Tiger Arena ? Steel erection is about 30% complete. Foundation walls continue and are about 90% complete. CO # 4 approved at the BPW on 1/25/12. New gas service installation to take place in late March, 2012.
West Village Commons ? 70? TV?s being installed. Waiting on As Built documents for the A/E.
West Village Housing ? HVAC systems under remedial action by contractor.
