The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute is offering this special lecture for on-campus faculty and staff in conjunction with a series of special lectures for the Osher membership.
When the names of Laura Ingalls Wilder and A.A.Milne are mentioned, immediately readers think of their classic books for children: The series known collectively as the ?Little House Books? and the wonderful stories about Winnie-the-Pooh and the books of poetry. Both authors, however, penned works for adults also. This program will explore the lives and writing of these two famous authors, emphasizing their ?other? writing as well as that for which they are most famous.
Ann Weller Dahl, M.Ed., an Osher member, has lectured and taught courses as well as conducted workshops on these authors. She has traveled to all the ?Little House? sites a number of times and has designed detailed reading guides to the books.
Enjoy this lecture and get to know more about the Osher Institute! A supporting membership is open to Towson faculty and staff of any age.
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Towson University is a component the Center for Professional Studies (CPS) and the Division of Economic and Community Outreach (DECO).
