The following downtimes will occur Sunday, May 29 during the Office of Technology Services’ Sunday maintenance window:
EXCHANGE E-MAIL SERVICES AND ALL “WWWNEW” WEB PAGES UNAVAILABLE, 8-10 A.M.
Exchange e-mail services and all university Web pages using “wwwnew” in the url will be unavailable 8-10 a.m., Sunday. During the downtime OTS will perform corrective maintenance to the server that hosts the “wwwnew” pages. OTS will also install new drivers and security patches.
Some of the “wwwnew” Web pages affected include:
– Most departmental Web sites
– Towson Citrix Web Portal {http://wwwnew.towson.edu/citrix/metaframexp/default/login.asp}
– Change TowsonU/Oracle password page off of Inside: {http://wwwnew.towson.edu/pw_reset/pw_reset.asp}
– Towson University Search Page: {http://wwwnew.towson.edu/intranet/campus/searchTUfs.asp}
TIGER SERVER UNAVAILABLE; PEOPLESOFT, BLACKBOARD, ORION AND TRITON INTERMITTENTLY UNAVAILABLE, 6 A.M.-6 P.M.
All services provided by the student Tiger server will be unavailable 6 a.m.-6 p.m., Sunday. In addition, PeopleSoft services, Blackboard, Orion and Triton will be intermittently available during that time.
Student services provided by Tiger include:
– OpenWebmail
– All student file shares
– All student log-ons
– All student Web pages
Data on the Tiger server will be moved to a larger disk to increase storage capacity. All other servers for the services listed above will have network devices repositioned to prepare for new connections.
